Honestly, I'd shell out the extra $35 and get the Special Edition PMR (some places call it the Limited Edition)
This replaces the composite Feedneck, eyeplates, and back cap with alloy parts, as well as having a nicer (In my opinion) trigger and trigger guard. It also comes with a Proto 2-piece barrel instead of the 1-piece barrel. Easily $35 worth of upgrades you'll definitely want to make regardless, so it's well worth the money.
I bought the PMR SE in Camo and it looks sick in my opinion. For reference, here are the upgrades I did.
ASA - Replaced with an on/off. The PMR has a standard dovetail ASA mount.
Feedneck Collar - Replaced with DM7 Lever Lock feedneck collar. The internals of the feedneck are identical to the DM7.
Barrel - Replaced with a Powerlyte Scepter 7-piece kit. (I already had this so it was a no-brainer. The stock 2-piece barrel is pretty nice.) For reference, the PMR is cocker threaded.
Ultralite Frame - Primarily because i like the feel of it better. This upgrade was purely personal preference.
At this point I can't honestly think of another upgrade I want to do to it.
If you're buying a non-SE model, replacing the composite back cap with a metal one is an ABSOLUTE priority. I've heard countless reports of the back caps on the original PMR having the threads stripped (possibly poor maintenance practice, but it's a fairly inexpensive replacement for a lot of peace of mind.)
I will say this, the PMR for the cost is an amazing marker.
